Behind-the-Scenes
Hudson contacted me to plan a fitness-themed shoot for his wife, Rocio, as a surprise for her birthday. Rocio is a social media influencer with her own workout program, and she wanted the session to feel natural and true to her style. We all met at the St. Augustine Beach pier for a fun, two-hour session.
I brought Mya as my second shooter to capture behind-the-scenes shots and b-roll for Rocio to use on social media. I also came prepared with a few fitness props to make the session more dynamic:
- Yoga mat
- Foam Roller
- Water bottle
- Jump rope
- Workout bag
We kept things natural and true-to-self. I had scouted the area and planned the shoot around 6pm to get harsh lighting and hard shadows for the style we wanted. I guided Rocio through her usual stretches and workout movements, and since she hadn’t worked out yet that day, safe to say she got her workout in.
We shot by a cement wall, on the beach, sitting on big rocks, and running along the shore. The birds toward the end were a fun surprise.
The result was a fun, energetic, and authentic collection of images and videos that showcased her personality, her fitness journey, and the thoughtful surprise Hudson had planned.

Phenomenal experience! I booked a two hour photo session with video support as a surprise birthday present for my wife. Tatianna was great at communicating and working with me to ensure we created a great experience for my wife. We linked up at a public beach before sunset and Tatianna made my wife feel comfortable within minutes, as this was her first photoshoot (first of many since she is a fitness content creator!). Tatianna contracted a videographer, Mya, to provide video support for my wife to create social media reels. The team brought props and everything necessary so that the whole experience was simple and easy. Conversation flowed, the event was fun, and it felt like we were all kindred spirits. Can’t complain about making new friends while also getting amazing products! We look forward to booking Teael Creative again and recommending to our friends.
